The Secastilla Valley vineyard straddles the foothills of the Pyrenees and rivers heading towards the high peaks. The natural milieu threads between 1100m tall mountains.
Being buried into the hillside means the barrel room has a constant temperature throughout the year. Bodegas Obergo has chosen French (75%) and French and American (25%) oak barrels in which to produce its wines. Located on the slopes of the Sierra de Ubiergo, it was designed as a viewpoint from which to observe the entire valley and the mountains that surround it. Wine tasting in the garden brings together the nature of the area and the history of the villages in the valley.
Recovering the old Secastilla Valley vineyards has been the main focus of the winery's activity from the outset. Once, they were of vital importance supplying wine to the people of the Pyrenees.
A truly authentic wine. Oenology with its roots in viticulture, extolling the sharpness and acidity typical of high regions. Knowledge and care of both plant and winery provide for wines that speak of the terroir in a unique way. SEE ALL WINERIES
