DESCRIPTION
Gabarda Excelsis is the signature wine from Bodegas Luis Marín, crafted from 100% Garnacha sourced from old vines grown at an altitude of 890 metres in the Cariñena PDO. Aged for 9 months in French oak, it presents as a modern, elegant, and exceptionally well-structured red wine that seamlessly balances high-altitude freshness with the maturity of ripe fruit.
TASTING NOTES
Visually, it displays a ruby colour with violet hues. On the nose, it stands out for its pronounced youthful aromas of strawberry jam and candy cane, seamlessly integrated with the notes of vanilla and toffee imparted by the oak.
On the palate, it offers a subtle hint of sweetness alongside commendable balance, defined by a lush mouthfeel complemented by soft tannins and just the right touch of tension.
