2023
DESCRIPTION
This wine is a wonderful evocation of the particular terruño in this corner of the world: wildly aromatic with notes of wild red fruits and spice.
The 2023 vintage is composed of a selection of various vineyards, situated between 750 to 990 metres, many of which were declassified from normally single vineyard releases. These parcels share the same geological characteristics of higher red clay content, promoting more of an explosive red fruit character and garrigue/monte bajo character.
“It's a fun red that they only produce in years when they find the fun profile with lots of undergrowth, aromatic herbs. This year is especially good…” Luis Gutierrez, The Wine Advocate.
